Study the following example of job interview !

Farah              : Good morning, sir. My name is Farah kartika and I am coming for an interview.

Interviewer    :Thanks for your coming. Please have a seat Miss kartika.

Farah              :Thank you sir, please call me farah.

Interviewer    :All right farah. Do you mind my asking you in English ?

Farah             :No, sir. I hope I can understand and answer the question well.

Interviewer    :Okay, farah. Did you still live with your parents ?

Farah              :No, I didn’t, sir. I live with my brother.

Interviewer    :What does your older brother do ?

Farah             :My older brother works at Merdeka bank, sir.

Interviewer    :Oh, that’s interesting. Did your father work at bank too ?

Farah             :No, sir. My father is a farmer.

Interviewer    :I see. Farah, I can say that your English is quite good. Where did you get your English ?

Farah              :I studied English from anabawang high school until university. Besides, I also took English course twice a week.

Interviewer    :Can you speak other foreign language ?

Farah              :I knew Japanese although a little , sir.

Interviewer    :Farrah, you said that you graduate from a university. When did you graduated ?

Farah              :I graduated three years ago, sir.

Interviewer    :Have you got any experiences, especially in banking line ?

Farah              :No, I haven’t Sir

Interviewer    :Why are you interested to work in this bank ?                                    32

Farah              :My reason is that because the job this bank offered corresponds with my major.

Interviewer    :This is an important question. If we finally decided to offer you the job, how much do you ask for your commencement salary ?

Farah              : Actually, this is a very difficult question for me to answer it. In this case, I believe that this company has a standards commencement salary for a new employee.

Interviewer    : ( smiling ) all right then. I think everything is enough for today. And I will let you know the result of this interview as soon as possible.

Farah              : Right, Sir. I’ll be waiting for your information. Thank you very much for the interview.
